22nd European Social Services Conference
The European Social Network will organize the 22nd European Social Services Conference in Rome on 7-9 July 2014.
The conference is organized in cooperation with the Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The theme is "Investing in people and communities - Social inclusion and social development".
Participants from over 30 countries will discuss issues such as:
Commissioner Andor will deliver a video message at the conference's opening session, which will also feature the Italian Minister for Labour and Social Policy. Ms Lieve Fransen, Director for Social Policies and Europe 2020 in our DG, will speak at the event in a round table on the next ten years.
